Overstrand Bowls Club
Lovely bowling green situated in the coastal village of Overstrand. We are open to members and non members from late April to Early September. Friendly Roll-Ups Every Monday & Friday from 1.30pm (Weather Permitting)
On the 5th September 2024 we held the four wood pair’s final. Jane and Paul Illif played Derek Johnston and John Pelton. This was a close fought game with Derek and John coming out on top. The cup was presented by Adrian Smith.
On the 4th September 2024 we also held the Men’s singles final between Paul Illif and Rod Goffin. The winner being Rod Goffin. Cup presented by Adrian Smith.
On the 4th September 2024 we held the ladies singles final. This year’s champion was Jayne Kneale
The latest NANSA league table has been updated on our website. OBC currently holds the top spot although we have completed all our games and a number of the clubs below us still have games in hand.
Wonderful Bank Holiday afternoon for a game of bowls. With good weather 20 members turn out for today’s rollup and we were treated to a slice of Custard Cream cake with a cup of tea.
